Good news since the storm. The post office is running again and most orders are shipping within the week. A few things are on pre-order while we restock, and those say so on their own page. We are still without electricity in Hanalei, though we do have water back. We are open and taking orders, and every one of them helps right now. Thank you for the patronage, truly.

Within 30 days of purchase, Slow Yourself Down will gladly accept returns of brand-new, unwashed, unworn items with tags still attached. Returns of merchandise must be made in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received them; returns or exchanges for merchandise showing wear will not be accepted.
We do not accept returns or refunds for any food items, including our Coffee & Tea jars. We do make exceptions for defective merchandise, which may be returned or exchanged beyond these conditions, subject to review. All of our Signature glass jars are final sale — no returns or exchanges. All Sale items are final sale — no returns or exchanges. Gift cards are non-refundable after 24 hours. The card must be unused, and a purchase receipt is required for returns. Orders made with a promo code can be exchanged or returned.
We also accept exchanges for in-store purchases. A $15 return fee applies, and you must provide a receipt, email, or phone number linked to your order for verification.
Your orders are shipped out from our home store in Hanalei. Because of this, shipping times may take slightly longer than usual — we appreciate your understanding and support as we grow.
Order fulfillment is typically within 1–2 business days.
Absolutely! When going through the checkout, select 'Pick-up' as your shipping option and we'll get your order ready for when you arrive at our store.
All prices on slowyourselfdown.com are in USD by default. If you do not live in the USA, there will be a currency conversion when you purchase.

Must stop in Hanalei
We have visited Kauai 5 times and always stop here. We absolutely love the Shave Ice here. You won’t find better shave ice on the island. It may be busy but they get orders out quickly and worth the wait. I tried the coffeehouse this trip and had the best latte ever! My wiife loves the Slow Yourself Down products and vibe. Don’t miss this spot.

I collected the jars and lids while in Hanalei. The lids are amazing! They fit my giant mason jars that I use for soups as well as the amazing jars they came with. I use them for all my fresh juices, soups, chia seed puddings etc. when you open my fridge all you see is “Slow yourself down” and makes me remember the island! 🤙🏼

I love the shirt, it’s fit and quality and, especially the message. It actually tells me, not those who may pass by and read the words, to Slow Myself Down, something friends have been telling me to do for years. Now, when I wear the shirt, I am declaring that I actually am “Slowing Myself Down”!
