Choosing organic cotton for your clothing is a conscious decision towards a greener planet. Unlike conventional cotton farming, organic cotton cultivation relies on natural methods that eliminate the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Look for sustainability metrics prominently displayed on each hang tag, showcasing our dedication to eco-conscious practices. By choosing organic cotton, you support sustainable agricultural practices, preserving biodiversity and protecting ecosystems for future generations.
Within 30 days of purchase, Slow Yourself Down will gladly accept returns of brand-new, unwashed, unworn items with tags still attached. Returns of merchandise must be made in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received them; returns or exchanges for merchandise showing wear will not be accepted.
We do not accept returns or refunds for any food items, including our Coffee & Tea jars. We do make exceptions for defective merchandise, which may be returned or exchanged beyond these conditions, subject to review. All of our Signature glass jars are final sale — no returns or exchanges. All Sale items are final sale — no returns or exchanges. Gift cards are non-refundable after 24 hours. The card must be unused, and a purchase receipt is required for returns. Orders made with a promo code can be exchanged or returned.
We also accept exchanges for in-store purchases. A $15 return fee applies, and you must provide a receipt, email, or phone number linked to your order for verification.
Your orders are shipped out from our home store in Hanalei. Because of this, shipping times may take slightly longer than usual — we appreciate your understanding and support as we grow.
Order fulfillment is typically within 1–2 business days.
Absolutely! When going through the checkout, select 'Pick-up' as your shipping option and we'll get your order ready for when you arrive at our store.
All prices on slowyourselfdown.com are in USD by default. If you do not live in the USA, there will be a currency conversion when you purchase.

When I visited Hanalei and found Slow Yourself Down, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. Literally everything felt right. This pouch was a souvenir I purchased for myself, because I loved everything about it, and when I got home, I felt that I needed to gift one too. I use this everyday and each day I take time to, breathe, read about grounding and feeling the energy, smile with memory from Kauai, and my nervous system resets. It is a never-ending gift and a reminder of where I need to plan my retirement ;)

I like to use tank tops as bras so they need to be cropped and 100% cotton. It is really hard to find this type of tank top! The cut and strap width are both perfect. I caught it on sale and I was only able to get a size large which fits more like a loose top than my normal size would. I would have liked a size small for a tighter, bra like fit. My wish: Please please please keep making these cropped tanks in different colors, possibly with matching panties, all in 100% organic cotton.

I'm glad I got the book on my visit so I could take a little bit of this charming place home. My husband said later he was hoping to try to recreate the chia pudding at home, so he also appreciated it! The PBJ overnight oats are probably going to be a regular addition to my breakfast rotation!
